Memories of Portugal

This project was created for wknd fest activities. Similar to a previous wknd fest piece, it demonstrates artistic abilities using flow fields and showcases smart contract writing capabilities.

The artwork had configurable elements controlled by bidders, including palette, style (lines or dots), spread, and inverse-ness. The background derives from a photograph taken during a Lisbon vacation. The generative art palettes drew their colors from that sunset photograph.

The smart contract enabled interactive bidding. Each bid gave the bidder 5 minutes to customize one trait before bidding resumed with the modified artwork. This created a new piece of art after each customization.

The piece sold at auction for 2 ETH.
