Chicken

Chicken combines flow-field based art and smart contract wizardry.

The artwork features two armies of particles flying at each other and fighting in the style of the game chicken. Each page reload generates a new particle pattern. I experimented with a new palette of oranges and yellows, which remind me a lot of chickens.

The smart contract operated as a limited open-edition with unique mechanics. For 24 hours, the edition remained "open" but every 10 mints reset the counter to zero, effectively capping ownership at 10 while allowing continuous competition for those slots. This mechanism resulted in 107 total mints but only 7 copies held by 5 final owners.
